Are You Fed Up Enough?

FED UP is "unable or unwilling to put up with something any longer"

Unable means "lacking the necessary power, authority, or means"

And, Lacking is to be "inadequate in amount or degree of something"

Are you fed up enough of your situation, or your circumstances of being cheated out your heritage, of being cheated out of the covenant you have with God. Are you unable to get yourself out of this same situation? Are you lacking or have inadequate wisdom, power, might or strength to pull yourselves up and upwards onto a higher plain?

If the answer to any of one of the questions above is yes, then I call you to "TAKE HOLD OF GOD'S STRENGTH" and pull yourselves out and up from your current situation, from your current stance.

To take hold means to:
to accept or adopt for one's own
to capture physically; seize
to seize with authority

God's strength is made perfect in our weaknesses, as described in 2 Corinthians 12:9, which reads “My grace is sufficient for you: for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

In our fed up and weak state we must remember like the Psalmist David did that the arm of the Lord will give us strength, as he confessed in Psalm 18:32, which reads "God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect".
You see, I asked the question Are you fed up enough because, being fed up brings forth the spirit and demure of restlessness, and when we are restless, we are open to finding a solution to change our situation, to change those things that is making us restless.

To be restless means there is:
a sense of being fed up right down to the very marrow in our bones
a sense of knowing that there is more to life and the desire to find it and take hold

Restlessness is described as "Not satisfied to be at rest or in peace; averse to repose or quiet; eager for change; to be discontented"
Are those words familiar to where you are - no satisfaction, a sense of there being more to life than what is in the present, a hunger and eagerness for change and the like? When we are restless, our spirit is telling and confirming to us that there is more to what we are seeing or experiencing. It is trying to call us back to our source to find out how we can obtain peace from this restlessness, understand the reasons for the restlessness and ask God to help get ourselves out of this state.
You see, restlessness can be caused by a number of reasons, such as:
Breakthrough is around the corner
Harvest is ripe for the picking
Danger is around the corner, and much more.

The spirit and feeling of restlessness brings forth the "desire and decision" to do something to break free from it. Genesis 27: 38 - 40 reads "38 Esau pleaded, “But do you have only one blessing? Oh my father, bless me, too!” Then Esau broke down and wept. 39 Finally, his father, Isaac, said to him, “You will live away from the richness of the earth, and away from the dew of the heaven above. 40 You will live by your sword, and you will serve your brother. But when you decide to break free, you will shake his yoke from your neck.”

This is the story of how Jacob stole Esau's birthright- I'm pretty sure most of us are familiar with that story (please read the whole chapter for completeness). Look at verse 40, it says "but when you decide to break free" - This tells me that a DECISION has to be made to "break free", once a decision is made, then we will be spurred into action to DO something about it. When Esau's makes a decision to be free, then he will shake the yoke from his neck! imagine that!!

So, if we are Fed Up Enough and restlessness is giving you sleepless nights? Then guess what, it is that fed up and restless feeling that will inspire you to make a decision to do something about the situation. Now, what we do and who we go to for help is the key. That's why I invite you to take hold of God's strength.

Why? Well, whether we like it or not, as long as we are alive, we are at war; we are in constant battle with the evil one. To break free from all forms of oppression.
WE NEED TO FIGHT!!!

BUT we don't fight in the physical, we fight in the spiritual, because we are first a spirit man and then a physical man. We don't fight with our own strength, we fight with God's strength.
We have to:
*War in God's strength*
*war in the covenant we have in God*

Psalm 65:6 speaks of God's strength it reads "You formed the mountains by your power and armed yourself with mighty strength."

We are also encouraged to take hold of God's strength in Ephesians 6:10, which reads "A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. "
The message bible translation calls this passage "A fight to the finish" and it reads " 10-12And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we'll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels. " Imagine that!!!

So, back to my first question, "Are You Restless Enough"? If so, I call, encourage and challenge you to take hold of God's strength, wisdom, counsel and understanding- as described in Job 12:13 " which reads "With God are wisdom and strength; he has counsel and understanding" -
and FIGHT your way through your restlessness, through your fed up state. Listen to that restlessness in your spirit in the realms of your heart, for it knows, there is more that God has set out for you, more that God wants to do for and through you, more places and heights God wants to take you to, all for the glory of his holy name.

Have an awesome day being as strong as your father, taking hold of all that he has already set out for you, whilst making him famous along the way.

Much Love

Along The Way...

Holy Spirit, take me by the hand
lead and guide me
as I journey through this land

Unravel the limitations of
my understanding to embrace
what I am and yet to become

Open the eyes of my faith
to know that I have overcome

In response I arise and...

Strengthen the cords of my inner
voice and bestow unto the Lord
a chorus of worship and praise
presenting him a brand new song

Proclaiming his majesty
throughout this land
Giving thanks unto the king
as I journey to Higher Ground

The Definite Law of Karma

Karma is described in the dictionary as thus: "the good or bad emanations felt to be generated by someone or something."

Galatians 6: 7 – 9 reads “7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

When most of us think of the concept of sowing and reaping, we tend to think of seeds such as finances and good deeds; but alas, the seeds we have within our very reality is much more than that we can imagine.

The dictionary describes a seed as thus: the fertilized ripened ovule of a flowering plant containing an embryo and capable normally of germination to produce a new plant; or is described as - A small amount of material used to start a chemical reaction.

From that definition, it is clear that a seed, in whatever shape or form, reproduces results after itself. If we plant a corn seed, it is safe to say that Corn will eventually grow from that planted seed right?

The bible explains this process clearly in Genesis 1:11, which reads “And God said, Let the earth put forth [tender] vegetation: plants yielding seed and fruit trees yielding fruit whose seed is in itself, each according to its kind, upon the earth. And it was so.” As we can see, the seeds brought forth plants, a harvest of its own kind.

What type of seeds are we planting as we strive to live out the intricacies of our day?

As mentioned above, at our disposal, are unlimited types of seeds, that we can choose to use in a positive or negative way. A few of them are:

· Words
· Works/ actions
· Thoughts / Worries
· Finance/ money

Lets try and break these down a little bit further:

Words: Proverbs 18: 20 – 21 reads "20 A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips he shall be filled. 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit."

From that passage, we can see that words are seeds. Produce means to bring forth; give birth to; bear”. So, it’s safe to say that if the words we speak are words of life, then the product will be life, either into our lives or into the lives of those whom the words are delivered to; and if we speak death, the opposite will happen, the produce of the words will bring forth death.

Actions/ Works: Mathew 5:16 reads “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven”

What do people see when they review the work of our hands. Our actions, at home, outside, on the streets, or at work? Our actions, and our works is a form of seed. The right action, e.g act of kindness, can just be that very seed to sow into a person’s life; the seed that will brings them to the acknowledgement of Jesus Christ, the very seed that will change their direction from death to life. What action or work seeds are we planting?

Thoughts / Worries:
Proverb 23:7 explains that “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. As one who reckons, he says to you, eat and drink, yet his heart is not with you [but is grudging the cost].” For example, worry is a seed that can be sown, either within our own hearts or within the hearts of others as explained in the verse above. Unforgiveness, is also a seed that can be sown within our thoughts. What seeds are our thought planting and what harvest do we expect from them? Prayerful thoughts or thoughts such as as unforgiveness, hatred and anger.

Finances: Mathew 25: 14 – 28Parable of the Three Servants. This passage tells the story of a man, who gave his servants certain amounts of money for them to keep whilst his was away. The story explains how the servants handled and managed the money pending their master’s return. How are we managing the finances God entrusted us with? Are we using it as tangible seeds, using it to bless those around us or just keeping it for our own needs. What seeds do our finances represent, what harvest do we dare to expect?

These is just a glimpse of the seeds we have at our disposal in our daily reality; seeds that will either bring forth a bountiful harvest or bring forth weeds, the choice is ours to make.

To make sure that our seeds bring forth bountiful, God glorying harvests, we should ask God to change the nature of the bad seeds that we might have already sown and help us to make a conscious decision to sow the seeds that will only glorify him. Seeds that will bring forth grains and not weeds.

For God to change our seeds, we should:

Ask God for forgiveness like David did in Psalm 32:5, which reads "Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone."

If the our failings are within the area of our thoughts, we should resume fellowship with whomever we have wronged. To say sorry, and mean it goes a long way. Sorry itself is a seed.

Rebuke the negative fruits of our past actions, words, thoughts and financial seeds, and embrace Romans 8:8, which gives us the assurance that all things works together for good. It reads “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Revive the good seeds within us. We all have seeds, good and bad. We can revive our good seeds by having the right thoughts, the right words, the right actions and the like. We should keep doing good and not get weary as we are comforted in Galatians 6:9, which reads “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

And finally, we should receive our harvest of good things. God is a good God and when we are obedient and do things His way, we will be blessed, God way; and we all know that is Good measure, pressed down and running over as we are taught in Luke 6:38, which reads “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Have an awesome day, getting rid of the weeds, planting good seeds in expectation of a bountiful harvest; not forgetting to make him famous along the way.

Much Love

To Know God Is To...

To know God is
to experience perfect stillness
surrounded by deep rooted
excitement and expectations

To know God is
to experience Love personified
After all, our names are written
in the palm, of His right hand!

To know God is
to realise that absolute
completeness and peace
can only be found in Him
and to realise that in itself
is a blessing and a gift indeed

So, How do we "Get To Know God?".

In our daily reality, most of us, I presume we have friends and it's safe to say that for those individuals to become our friends, we have had to spend time with them at various points in time. We have had to spend time getting to know them - going out on dates, to events, visiting each other's homes, movies and the rest.

We've had to spend time having conversations with these individuals - some light, some deep and heartfelt ones. Some face to face, some on the phone and some on the Internet; but conversations we've had to have all the same, to encourage the friendship to grow and keep growing. These conversations have further enlightened us to who they are; what they liked, what they don't like, what makes them tick and what gets them ticked off. We've had to find out what help or support they want or need from us and vice - versa. We have had to invest considerable time to getting to know them and hence they have become and remained our friends.

The same principle can be applied to us "Getting to know God", we have to spend time with him. We have to spend time in conversations with him, we have to spend time going to his "house", having lunch with him, breakfast or dinner with him, and hanging out with him. We have to know what he likes, what he does not like, what makes him tick and what makes him angry towards us.

There are many ways to get to know God, and one of them is through reading his word, the Bible - daily and constantly. Reading and meditation on his words day and night will enlighten us to who God is, what he likes and what he does not like.

Another, and most important way to get to know God is through PRAYER. I describe prayer as having conversations with God. I wrote about this a while back, and you can read it here: http://adayingodswill.blogspot.com/2008/01/whispers.html . It's having conversations as one would with a friend.

The dictionary describes conversation as thus: The spoken exchange of thoughts, opinions, and feelings; talk.

Conversation is a two-way thing. When we have conversations with God, we talk, and He listens. When He talks, we in turn MUST listen.

When we have conversations with God, he listens just as he confirmed in the days of Jeremiah in Jeremiah 29:10 -13, it reads "10For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. 11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

The truth is God has many things to say to us. He has many thoughts to put into our minds. He has many answers he wants to give to us, concerning our daily walk in his will, as explained in Proverbs 1:33, which reads "But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil "

I love the message bible version- it reads "First pay attention to me, and then relax. Now you can take it easy—you're in good hands." Imagine that!

Yet, we find it hard to press pause button in our reality to have meaningful conversations with God. We rush through our daily lives "like driving a fast car on a journey and not stopping to consult a map for directions or stopping at the gas station to obtain petrol the journey" .

The reality is that most of us find conversations - prayer with God a sense of duty.

I'm pretty sure we don't keep our natural friendships alive, through conversations out of a sense of duty. The same should apply to our relationship with God. We should not have conversations with him out of a sense of duty, it should be because our soul desires it, because our soul needs it and because our soul hungers for it.

To have conversations with God, is to know embrace the knowledge of who he is.

So, here is me encouraging us all, that if we don't already, to start the process of conversation, of prayer with the Almighty God; and if we do already, to keep it up and ask the Holy Spirit to help us to keep having meaningful conversations with God. Conversations that will bring glory to the beauty of his holy name.

Have a wonderful day of friendship with the most high God, and through the fruits of his friendship, make Him famous along the way.

Much Love

Curtain Rod of Love

Luke 10:25- 28 reads "25 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?” 27 So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’[a] and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”[b]28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”

Mathew 22:34 - 39 reads "34 But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Reading those two passages, it is evident that the whole commandments of God HANGS on the "LAW OF LOVE" - Loving God and loving our fellow man. The law of prosperity, of faith, of deliverance, of answered prayers, of increase and much more, hangs of that Love commandment.

WITHOUT LOVE, NOTHING CAN WORK!!!

Imagine you are trying to hang up a curtain;
There is the rod, the hooks and the curtain itself.

If the rod is not solid and stable, in the right shape with the right hook outlets, then, it is safe to say that it will be a difficult task putting the hooks on the rod right? Now, imagine the hooks are not the proper shape and size.

It is also safe to say that it will be almost impossible to hang the curtain off these hooks right?
So, if the curtain rod is unstable, will be almost impossible to attach the hooks or the curtain. And even if you do try, it will turn out all wrong, shaky, crooked and wonky, and most likely, eventually the curtain will fall off at some point.

Now, imagine the curtain Rod to be Love, The hooks, to be faith and the curtain itself to be the manifestation of God's blessings; answered prayers and the like.
If we are not walking in love, the faith we have in God will not work, and because our faith is not working, there will be no manifestation of what we desire from that faith - answered prayers and the like.

For us to see God's glory in our lives, we must have faith, and the faith we have must be hang off the law of love as mentioned in the passage above, for the all other laws hang off that same law. For us to see the beauty of the curtain, it must hang off the hooks firmly placed and embedded in the curtain rod.

Imagine that?! One can be diligent in all the other laws in the bible, but if that person has no love, then all is of no use, because all the other laws hang off the law of love!

Hence, when we are not seeing the manifestation of our prayers, even though we have the faith that He will do what his word says, we really must ask ourselves, " is my faith hanging on God's love?"

How do we walk in Love? How do we make sure our faith is hanging on God's love? To walk in love is a process, a development process and we do this by reading and practising the words of God. By reading the bible and bringing the meaning and instructions therein into our daily reality. Making it the way that we live, living it out in a practical way.

And how do we do that I hear you ask? By loving our fellow man as commanded. I mean if we cannot show love to our fellow man, that we see, how can we say that we love God, that we cannot see? By giving a helping hand when it is need, a kind word here or there, goes a long way to show and leave the imprints of God's love. Putting in a word at work for that your friend that is seeking employment, helping that neighbour with their grocery shopping because they don't have a car.

Another way to walk in love is to practice forgiveness, is to releasing people who have hurt us into forgiveness. Now this can be a major one, because sometimes we might not know we are harbouring unforgivness and that is why we have to ask the holy spirit to help us daily.

I remember a while back, when I was looking for a new location to live, I asked a few friends about their neighbourhood; you know to get a feel of what the areas was like and all that. And I remember a friend saying "please don't come to our area, we don't want your kind living in our area", and I also remembered that, at point in time, I laughed it off, as I thought it was nothing.

Months later, when I was struggling with a few issues, the Holy spirit brought it to me that I was habouring unforgiveness for what that very statement that friend had said. ! Imagine that!? Thank God for that revelation and the ability to forgive.

We must walk in love to live the successful and elevated life God wants for us and Love will never fail to bring us to that very place. Why? Because God is love, agape love; Love that was given to us, even when we were yet sinners. Love never fails because God NEVER fails.

Also, because God loves us, he will make everything right with and for us, but we in turn must walk in that very commandment of love.

Simply put, if we don't walk in and live by Love, our faith will not work. This we are thought clearly in Galations 5: 6, which reads Galatians 5:6 "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love."

When our faith does not hang off love, we will not see the fullness of God's in our lives. Yes, He will bless us anyway, because that is God's nature, He cannot help himself but bless us, but without love, we will not see or experience the best that God has for us.

So, here is me encouraging us all to open ourselves to Love, develop God's love by constantly reading his words, the bible, and then making it's expression your daily reality, and watch God's awesomeness manifest in your lives; making him famous along the way.

She Calls For An Audience...

Conjure up a need
calling forth in earnest
a hunger from deep within

Stretch forth your minds
expand the walls of your hearts
to make room for impending
invasions of the power of clarity!

Strain your ears to carefully listen
Through the midst of the winds
the sounds of her voice can be heard
Across the world's fields, coasts and
over the vast blue seas

She stretches forth her cords
sending out constant invitations to
every mind, spirit and elusive souls
Souls, stuck at crossroads, chained and
weighed down by strongholds

Awaken to my voice she cries...
"my ways are pure and most certainly sure"
She pleads for acceptance and acknowledgement
to the urgency of her call

She invites us to visualise, experience and
learn the intricacies of the father's will
making it our daily reality.

To understand who our God truly is and what he desires of us, lies within boundless walls of wisdom. God's wisdom is infinite – it's never ending, ever building and ever teaching.

To acknowledge and understand in its entirety, the ramifications of what it means to live according to his will, means to; stretch forth our hearts in acceptance to wisdom's invitation and sending the confirmation to our souls.

It means to continuously keep hold (never letting go), of her teachings, the meanings that reside in therein, the representations and then imprint them into our lives, making it our reality.

It means to continuously meditate on God's word, for that is the source and fountain of wisdom.

James I:5 reads "If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking." – New Living Translation

The Message Bible translation (I love this translation!) Reads

" 5-8If you don't know what you're doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You'll get his help, and won't be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believing, without a second thought. People who "worry their prayers" are like wind-whipped waves. Don't think you're going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open."

Have an awesome day reaching out to and accepting the invitation to wisdom's call; enriching your minds, spirit and souls; not forgetting to make God famous along the way.

Stop Wishing, Start Changing

The power to change the course of our lives resides within the realms of our decisions, our actions or inaction, our prayers, believe; all wrapped up in faith and hope in God who is our enabler.

The dictionary explains wish / wishing as thus:
"A desire, an expression of longing, or strong inclination for a specific thing"

It is safe to say that to wish is not a doing action, as in physically doing something, it's more of conjuring up the notion within our minds; of what we want to be now, or in the future.

To simply wish for something is not a guarantee that we will actually get it, that is without actually doing something to CHANGE that same wish into a reality and ultimately, into a testimony. 3 John 1:2 (Kings James version) reads "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth"

This was written by John to Gaius, and he was expressing his wish and desire that Gaius prospers in the physical and in the spiritual (on another note, this is why we cannot neglect the upkeep of the physical bodies, whilst we concentrate solely on the spiritual; they both go hand in hand. The vessel is the vehicle that enables the spiritual being to act out the will of God – more on that to come).

But then, when we go on to read verse 3 of the same chapter, it reads "For I rejoice greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth"

Now we see that the wishes have come to pass, because Gaius had actually done some things to bring John's and possibly Gaius's wishes to pass. He walked in the truth of his desire to prosper in the physical and the spiritual. Walking is a physical activity; he walked in the truth of what he believed in, which became his testimony, as John noted.

So, what is the truth that he walked in I hear you ask? Well, when we wish for God to do something in our lives, we wish with the believe, hope and faith that he will do it. But then it goes a bit deeper than that, believing alone is not sufficient, we have to ACT on our very belief.

And how do we act on our believes? Mathew 23 – 31 provides some clarification it reads "22 Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. 23 And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there. 24 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. 25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. 27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” 28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” 29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” 31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.

I'm sure most of us are familiar with the story in this passage; it's about how Peter walked on water. In verse 28, Peter saw that Jesus was walking on water and he wanted to be with Jesus on the water. So at this point, it is safe to say that Peter was wishing and expressing his desire to be with Jesus on the water.

In verse 29, Jesus said to Peter "COME",. Now watch this, Peter did something; he got out of the boat and proceeded to walk on water. At this point it is safe to say that Peter engaged in the action word of 'doing' which started the process of changing his wish to be with Jesus on the water into a reality.

But wait, Peter did not just walk on water (Now this will blow your mind as it did mine the first time I was thought this revelation!), NO, Peter did not just walk on water, Peter walked ON THE WORD "COME" , He walked on the word that pertained to his wish, his desire to be with Jesus on the water. He spread the word 'come' over the waters and walked on it!!! Now imagine that. !!!

This means that, for us to CHANGE our wishes into reality, we have to get the word of God that relates to that very wish and then WALK on it, bringing forth its manifestation. I don't know about you, but that gives me goose pimples to say the least!

So I ask you, what is that wish or desire that burns within your heart, keeping you awake in the middle of the night? Do you know, understand and believe in the truth of what God says about it? If you do, then simply pick up that word of God, spread it over that wish and then WALK on it, bringing forth its reality.

But wait... changing our wishes by spreading and walking on the word of God, has another dimension to it. Huh, I hear you say? Yup, and this dimension is called FOCUS.

Looking at verse 30 and 31 of the chapter above, Peter came out of the boat and walked on the word 'Come' and then walked towards Jesus, but then, he saw the winds was boisterous, and then he became afraid and started to sink. Verse 30 reads "But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

Now, that tells me that, whilst walking on the word to change my wishes and desires to reality, I need to constantly keep my FOCUS on Jesus, on God. It further teaches me that winds of life will come and it will try to distract me, trying its best to get me caught up in it's flow, in its rhythm; but in the midst of it all, I should stand strong and firm by keeping my focus on God, this will further empower the birth and manifestation of Change. Wonderful!

Verse 31 of the same chapter confirms this. Jesus said, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" This reveals to me that even though my immediate reality has not changed, my wishes to see God's reality in my life, will come forth if I keep my focus on him, casting away all doubts, regardless the force of the storms I might be going through. I know, it's hard, its difficult, its down right painful, but keep focus we have and must do, to empower change of wishes and desires.

With that, its safe to say that; faith, hope and focus, is a powerful combination to bring froth change. After all it reads in Psalm 138:2 that God has magnified his word above his name!!!
"I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your loving kindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name." Isn't that just awesome.
So today, I encourage us all to rise up in prayer, to seek the truth of God's word for that very wish and desire. Get that word, spread it over and simply WALK and keeping walking in it, keeping our focus on God, hence bringing forth CHANGE. Changing our wishes and desires into manifestation and ultimately testimonies, bringing glory to God's name.

Have a wonderful day spreading the word of God over everything that concerns you, walking on it, with renewed faith, renewed focus and renewed strength and understanding, all for God's glory; not forgetting to make him famous along the way.

Much love

A Time To Seek God's Face

Isaiah 55:6 - 7 reads "6 Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. 7 Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously" .

In my sanctuary, this month is set aside for fasting and praying, as I mentioned in this post: And when you fast, to go Deeper and Higher into the presence of God.

Today, is the first day of this fast. It is a time for us to seek the face of God like never before. A time to lay down everything, that has hindered us from continuously seeking the face of the Lord. A time to lay down everything that is contesting for our time with God.

Did you know that even God's blessings can stifle our hunger for God? Can deter us from constantly seeking his face, can dampen the blazing hunger we should feel daily as we strive to live according to his will?

Yes, we can get carried away with God's gifts and blessings such as gardening, watching TV, even our relationships, marriages or families, reading magazines and so forth.

This is better explained in Luke 8:14 explains it further as thus "The seeds that fell among the thorns represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life. And so they never grow into maturity."

So, this morning in the service, we commenced this journey with a bang! We left everything that consistently fights for our attention with God, that constantly dampens or dulls our hunger to reach out to God and to seek him as we know we should; and we take up the strength of God, we reach for his power, his wisdom and understanding. We reach out to God through our prayers, fasting and our giving for his will to be done and for his kingdom to surely come.

As we journey on, I invite you to take part, I invite you to take some time, and put aside the daily grind that we call life and focus solely on the God that can make everything that is wrong in your life better, that can make you a better creation, that can propel you to be all that you are meant to be; all for His glory.

It is the season, it is the time to prepare prepare and condition our hearts, aligning our lives to the will of God, hiding his words therein, so that they never depart.

A Time to Seek
In the middle of challenges,
in the midst of striving to live
the reality of God's will, it is time to seek
the beauty of his face, a time to
hunger for his presence, through his grace

In the middle of everything going wrong,
in the jubilation and victory,
it is time to seek the face of the one

who changes not, through centuries
Like birds know and detect seasonal changes,
fly south in search for food
It its time to awaken the hunger within hearts,
in search for wisdom and understanding through God's word
like Solomon wrote about, from days of old

It is time to break hollow ground
prepare our hearts, minds and soul as
fertile and solid ground

A time to seek renewed revival
A time to hunger for his holy presence
