31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 31!!!

For as many as are the promises of God,
they all find their Yes [answer] in Him [Christ].
For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it)
to God through Him [in His Person and by
His agency] to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 1:20

Today dear Lord, I lift up your name in Praise. I am forever assured that you are working your perfect will and way with, in and through me. Almighty God, I thank you that you are my focus, my hope and future and for these and more, I will forever praise your name.

Children of God shout Hallelujah! We made it! It is not by our power, or by our might, but by God's precious and wonderful Spirit that we have been able to come this far. By God's grace and power we have made it to 31 December 2009, the end of another year and indeed a decade. Praise the name of the Almighty God.

Dear Papa, I SAY A MASSIVE THANK YOU FOR TODAY, 31 DECEMBER 2009, FOR BRINGING US THIS FAR AND FOR WHERE YOU ARE TAKING US ALL IN 2010.

I thank you for the opportunity, the gift, the grace, the push towards obedience, through diligence to put up these 31 Days of Thanksgiving and Praise to you. Be forever glorified. These past 31 days you have given us a beautiful reality and opportunity to live Psalm 50:14, "Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High..."

I thank you for everyone who has participated; those visible and those not seen. Papa, I pray that all their heartfelt thanksgiving and praise is presentable, sweet smelling and accepted in you presence. Lord, on everyone's behalf I bring to you our collective sacrifice of Thanksgiving and praise for the year 2009 and I declare that testimonies will come out of this and you will be forever glorified.

I thank you that you have indeed taught us all that regardless the outlook of life, regardless our circumstances and situations, we indeed have something to be thankful about. I thank you because WE INDEED CAN give thanks to you in all circumstances, as you encourage and command us to do in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will]."

I am thankful for all the victories I now proclaim for us all through our thanksgiving this month declaring 1 Corinthians 15:57, "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

I thank you for your mercy, grace, faithfulness, teaching, scolding, teaching in 2009 and now expectation of that which you have in store for us all 2010.

I am thankful that you are ushering us all victoriously into 2010 where we will be experience even more of you than we have ever done before.

I thank you that 2010 for us all will be a better year us all in every area of our lives.

So Papa today, I pray that the same power you used to part the red sea for the children of Israel, that you will use to make a way for us all in 2010.

I give you thanks in advance of all the victories and the celebrations and the testimonies that we will have in 2010. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I PRAISE, THANKS AND PRAY. Amen.

CHILDREN OF GOD,  YOU MADE IT! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

FOR THE LAST TIME IN 2009:

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 30

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd
sacrifices his life for the sheep
John 10:11

Father I thank you for another day to give you glory, honor and praise. I thank you for another day to declare your majesty, your faithfulness. I thank you for another day to not only hear but follow you as my good and perfect shepherd.

Dear Papa, today I say a BIG THANK YOU for being MY GOOD & PERFECT SHEPHERD. I thank you that you are the shepherd that tends and guards my soul.

I thank you that you are the shepherd that protects, guides and watches over me and everything and everyone concerning me.

You see, there are good and bad shepherds, but I am thankful Lord that I as your sheep am identified with you, and hear your voice and follow you as my guide.

I thank you for being my good and perfect shepherd because you will not abandon me and like man to let the wolves attack me, as you explain in John 10:12-13, "A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will abandon the sheep because they don’t belong to him and he isn’t their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock. The hired hand runs away because he’s working only for the money and doesn’t really care about the sheep."

I thank you for being my good and perfect shepherd for when trouble comes or when life strikes a painful blow, you do not run away; you fight for me and give me the victory.

I thank you that you are my good and perfect shepherd because I am assured that if I stick with you and follow you as a faithful sheep you will make good your promise of Hebrews 13:5b, “…I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

I thank you for being my good and perfect shepherd for you will lead and guide me towards my Eden, into abundance Psalm 23:2He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters." You leads me into abundance even as I move into a new decade by your grace and power.
So today Papa, I thank you for being my GOOD & PERFECT SHEPHERD. I thank you for your constant protection and guidance, through your word, teachings, books and living in the realms of your will.

Papa, I pray that my basket of thanksgiving and praise is acceptable and sweet smelling in your presence this very day. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I praise, thanks and pray. Amen.

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 29

And Judas and Silas, who were themselves prophets
(inspired interpreters of the will and purposes of God),
urged and warned and consoled and encouraged
the brethren with many words and strengthened them

Acts 15:32

I thank you Father for another day to give you glory, honor and praise. I thank you for another day to keep working on becoming the person you want me to be. I thank you for another day to BE encouraged and TO encourage.

Yesterday, I met up with a friend and we discussed some of the projects that he had underway. We discussed possibilities and strategies for the new year. At some point, the discussion turned towards my projects and what I got was unexpected. I greatly encouraged from the top of my head to the sole of my feet from the words my friend spoke to me. A few words of encouragement does goes a long way, more so from an individual that you thought never really paid interest in what you do or trying to achieve.

Dear papa, today I SAY A BIG THANK YOU for the wonderful SPIRIT AND GIFT OF ENCOURAGEMENT.

I thank you for the ability to be humbled enough to be encouraged. I thank you for those you send my way whose words speak life into my life as you declared they would in Proverbs 10:11a, "The mouth of a good person is a deep, life-giving well...."

I am thankful for those you send my way whose words help to build me up, and those you send my way, who I can help to build up by the words you give me; making Ephesians 4:29 my reality "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen ".

I am thankful for when we encourage each other we emulate you my father. You encourage us through your word to give us hope and good future in you as you declare in Romans 15:4, "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."

I am thankful because when we encourage each other we not only emulate you Father, but we work unity amongst oursevels, as declared in Romans 15:5, "May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus."

So Papa, today, I say thank you the Gift of encouragement. I thank you for encouragement from you and from people you send to me. I thank you for the opportunities and the ability, by your grace, to encourage others also.

Papa, I sincerely pray that my basket of Thanksgiving for the spirit of Encouragement is acceptable and sweet smelling in your presence. I also pray that someone, somewhere is encouraged by this thanksgiving post. In the name of Jesus Christ, I Praise, Thanks and Pray. Amen.

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 28

"Look, I have given you authority over
all the power of the enemy, and you can
walk among snakes and scorpions and
crush them. Nothing will injure you."
Luke 10:19

I thank you Father for another day to give you glory, honor and praise. I thank you for another day to be all that I can and should be for your glory. I thank you for another day filled with opportunities to exercise my delegated authority over everything that you have made with your hands, and over every problem, trials and tribulations.

Dear Papa, today I say a big THANK YOU for the DELEGATED POWER AND AUTHORITY you have given me to reign over everything that your hands have made.

I thank you for the daily opportunities to exercise my delegated power and authority and control over every single trial and tribulation.

I am thankful because my delegated Authority comes from being your child who is a Joint heir with Jesus Christ as declared in Galatians 4:7 " Therefore, you are no longer a slave (bond servant) but a son; and if a son, then [it follows that you are] an heir [a]by the aid of God, through Christ." And authority that comes from such linage can NEVER FAIL! PRAISE GOD!

I am thankful because I have the power and authority over all things you have created Papa as you have declared in Psalm 8:6-8 "You let us rule everything your hands have made. And you put all of it under our power-- the sheep and the cattle, and every wild animal, the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and all ocean creatures"

I am thankful because I have the power and authority over everything concerning me; spiritual growth, health, wealth, relationships, ministry and business.

I am thankful because that even as the year draws to a close and we start a new year and indeed a new Century, I have the Power and the Authority to achieve all that God has called me to achieved, to be all that God has called me to be and to do ALL that God has called me to do.

So Papa, I pray that my basket of Thanksgiving and praise for the awesome Power and Authority you have given me in and over all things, is acceptable in your presence this very day.

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 27

So we fasted and prayed about
these concerns. And he listened.
Ezra 8:23

I thank you Almighty Father for another day to give you glory honor and praise. I thank you for another day to be all that I can and should be, by your power and might. I thank you for another day to experience the power of fasting and praying unto you.

Dear Papa, I say a BIG THANK YOU FOR THE INCREASED, REFRESHING,YET STRICT COMBINED DISCIPLINE OF FASTING and PRAYING my life this year.

I am thankful because fasting and prayer is the most critical weapons of spiritual warfare and deliverance in my life. It is a great spiritual discipline for seeking your intervention.

I thank you for fasting for it helps me to move into a spiritual realm of faith and power by denying my flesh desires. When I do this, your spirit takes the dominance and moves in my life.

I thank you for fasting and praying for it gives me spiritual breakthroughs and moves me closer to you; for though I sow in tears I reap with joy as declared in Psalm 126: 5-6, "Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him."

I am thankful because it helps to loose the bonds of wickedness and the release of un-forgiveness as explained in Isaiah 58:6, "[Rather] is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every [enslaving] yoke?"

I am thankful for the combined and increased discipline of fasting and praying because it has and continues to help me take my focus of things of this world and focus on you, making 2 Chronicles 7:14a my reality, "Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. "

I am thankful for my increased discipline of fasting this year, for it has helped me to see who I really am within, has broth forth repentance and release from past and hidden hurt and grief.

I am thankful for fasting and praying for it gives me another opportunity to share my bread, food and clothing with those less privileged than I am; helping me to live out the reality of Isaiah 58:7-8

So today, Papa, I am thankful for the increased combined discipline of fasting and praying in my life. I am thankful that through it you are teaching me how to focus on you more. I am thankful for you are teaching me how to be humble, how to help those less privileged.

I am thankful for the victories you have given me through fasting and praying. I am thankful for the closeness to you through fasting and praying. I am thankful for the revelations and guidance you continue to give me when I fast and pray. I pray that my basket of thanksgiving and praise is acceptable in your presence this very day. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I praise, thanks and praise.

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 26

Let your roots grow down into him, and let
your lives be built on him. Then your faith
will grow strong in the truth you were taught,
and you will overflow with thankfulness.
Colossian 2:7

I thank you Father for another day to give you the glory, honor and praise. I thank you for another day to be all that I can be for your glory. I thank you for another day to grow in the knowledge of you.

Dear Papa, I say A BIG THANK YOU for GROWTH; SPIRITUALLY & in CHARACTER. By your grace and power and through the help of the wonderful teacher - the Holy Spirit, I have come a long way from living a life that is "all about me" to a living a life that is "all about you and your kingdom" . Praise be to you my Father.

I thank you for increase of my knowledge and understanding of the intricacies of your word.
I thank you for the decrease of sinful nature in my life.
I thank you for the increase in my practice of Christ-like qualities that you are building in me.
I thank you for the increase in faith and trust in you, in all things.

I thank you Papa for giving me the desire to continually live my life to imitate Jesus Christ as commanded in 1 Corinthians 11:1, "And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ."

I thank you for continually building in me the Love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness and self-control, as explained in Galatians 5:22 -23, "But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!"

So today Papa, I thank you for continually growing me in your word, in the knowledge of you and in living my life to emulate Jesus Christ. I thank you for developing the fruit of the Holy Spirit within me. I thank you for continually making me the person you want me to be.

Father, I pray that my basket of thanksgiving for growth is sweet smelling and acceptable in your presence today. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I praise, Thanks and pray. Amen,

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 25

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”-
Isaiah 9:6

I thank you father for another day to give you the glory honor and praise. I thank you for another day to be all that I can be for your glory. I thank you for another day to experience the beauty of what you did for me, through the birth of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Dear Papa, today I am thankful for the opportunity to celebrate the meaning of the birth and reign of my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

I am thankful for the birth of Jesus Christ, because His birth means He has come to dwell with us, as declared in Matthew 1:23, "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" which means, "God with us."

I am thankful for Jesus Christ because He is the

WONDERFUL COUNSELLOR

MIGHTY GOD

EVERLASTING FATHER

PRINCE OF PEACE

I am thankful because with Jesus Christ being all of this, my Lord and master, there is nothing man can do to me, and there is NOTHING I should ever worry about!

I am thankful because I am reminded that Jesus Christ is the light of this world and to live I must follow him as declared in John 8:12, "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

So today, Papa, Thanking you for sending your ONE AND ONLY SON, to us. Thank you for sending your son to redeem us. I THANK YOU PRECIOUS JESUS FOR COMING!!!

REDEEMED PEOPLE, WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL TO GOD FOR TODAY?

HAVE A HAPPY CHRISTMAS CELEBRATING

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 24

Take wheat and barley, beans and lentils,
millet and spelt; put them in a storage
jar and use them to make bread for yourself.
Ezekiel 4:9

I thank you Father for another day to give you glory Honor and praise. I thank you for another day to be all that I can and should be. I thank you for another day to open my mouth wide and for you to fill it with your word; the bread of life.

Yesterday, was a very long day for me. I was out of the house before 8am and did not get back home till about 11:30pm. I was tired, and extremely hungry. I am very particular about what I eat so I had to hold the hunger until I got home. I made something food and sat down to eat around 12:00 Midnight! There is nothing like drinking some warm soup,  and hot cocoa, when its freezing cold outside. Thank you Jesus!

Today dear Papa, I say A BIG THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING ME WITH FOOD TO EAT. Yes, its a bit of a strange or funny thank you, but I am thankful all the same. I am thankful for food because I have some to eat, through the resources you provided for me.

I am thankful because I am very aware there are a lot of people who go hungry every single day, especially at this time of the year when man practices over-indulgence. I am thankful that I have just the right amount to eat, keep for tomorrow and share with those who don't have. Thank you so much Jesus, because you know when I was growing up, the story was very much different!

I am thankful because, even from the beginning of time, you provided food for me and you still keep providing as shown in Genesis 1: 29 - 30, "Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food." And it was so."

I am thankful because you not only give me food to eat but teach me the right foods for nutrition and healing to my body, as you teach in Leviticus 11:3-8 and Proverbs 23:20-21

I am thankful for food because it is a constant reminder that even though I eat physical food, it is only you that can fill me up as you ARE the bread of life as declared in John 6:35, "Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." This is my very safeguard for not using food as an anchor to my emotions or not indulge in gluttony, which is the order of today.

I am thankful for food because through sharing my food with the less privileged, I am able to show the compassion of Jesus Christ.

So Papa, today, I say a BIG THANK YOU for giving me both physical and spiritual food to eat. I am thankful for the ability to eat the right type of food that you teach me to in your word. I am thankful for the ability to share my food with those who don't have.

Father, I pray that my basket of thanksgiving and praise is sweet smelling and acceptable in your presence this very day. In the mighty nam of Jesus I Praise, Thanks and Pray. Amen.

Exodus 3:14

Father I thank you for another day to give you glory honor and praise. Lord, I thank you for another day to be all that I can and should be for your glory. I thank you for another day to experience another part, meaning and representation of who you are to me.

Today dear Papa, I say a BIG THANK YOU FOR THE ENDLESS NAMES I CAN FREELY CALL YOU. I thank you for the privilege to be able to call you what I need and that which I am to become, according to your will for my life.
I am thankful that you not only answer these names when I call, but you manifest the essence of them in my life.

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 22

There is a time for everything, and a
season for every activity under heaven:

Ecclesiastes 3:1

I thank you Lord for another day to give you glory, honor and praise. I thank God for another day to experience the seasons of life, physically and spiritually.

For the past few days we have had snow in England, thick, fluffy and beautiful snow. The wonders of God's works is truly amazing. I was standing on the train platform yesterday evening, marvelling at the snowflakes as they fell from the sky to the ground. I was transfixed. I wondered, how does God make this snow and how does it fall from the sky? I bet there is a scientific explanation, but for a moment, indulge my imagination. I thought, maybe the rivers in heaven got really frozen and he decided to thaw them a bit. Then I thought about a good friend of mine, who loves ice cream, no matter the weather, then I thought, oh maybe Papa is making a huge bowl of ice cream and then the flakes are part of the preparation? Or then maybe there is a party going on in heaven and the snow flakes are the confetti the angels are throwing around as they celebrate. Like I said, humour and flow with my imagination! lol

Today dear Papa, I SAY THANK YOU for the privilege to EXPERIENCE THE CHANGE IN SEASONS; winter, spring, summer and Autumn. I am thankful because the change in seasons reminds me of your infinite power and authority. You are the only one who has the sole power to change the seasons of this life and indeed in my life as declared in: Daniel 2:2, "He changes the times and seasons of the year. He takes away the power of kings "

I am thankful to experience the seasons of life because it reminds me of the perfect purpose of the cycle of your creative system as declared in Isaiah 55:10, "The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry."
For this, I am rest assured because in the seasons of my life, when I don't' know what to do, I have you my Father, who knows what to do.

I am thankful to experience the change in seasons because it reminds me to keep sowing good seeds; love, peace, joy and much more, for the harvest time will always come round as declared in Genesis 8:22, "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease."

So today Papa, I SAY THANK YOU for the privilege to experience the change in seasons, snow, rain, sunshine, wind and all. I thank you for it tells and shows the nature, shape and meaning of your perfect work.It shows the beauty and wonder of your creation. It shows that as in the physical, in my life, there are seasons, and everything will become perfect in it's season and time, just like snow in winter. I thank you because the seasons reminds me that in my life, every season has its purpose and plan and by your grace it will be used for your glory.

Papa, I pray that my basket of thanksgiving and praise is acceptable in your presence today. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I thanks, praise and Pray. Amen

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 21

For this reason I remind you to fan
into flame the gift of God, which is in you
through the laying on of my hands
2 Timothy 1:6

I thank you Father for another day to give you glory, honor and praise. I thank you for another day to be all that I should be for your glory. I thank you for another day to use the gifts you have bestowed me with to draw men unto you and give you the glory.

Yesterday at church, we were practising our drama and dance sketches for Christmas and new year's eve celebrations. It is amazing to see such diverse and great talent in the house; from singing to dancing and acting. However, it is even more amazing to see the eagerness and willingness of wanting to use it for God's glory; to minister to people and draw men unto God. It's truly amazing.

Dear Papa, today I say a BIG THANK YOU FOR MY GIFTS - THE TALENTS AND ABILITIES - that you have blessed me with. I am thankful for the desire to want to continuously flame and use the gifts that you have deposited within me, for your glory and the advancement of your kingdom.

I am thankful for the opportunities to use my gifts to uplift, inspire and minister to people around me, and for the privilege to live out my part of the body of Christ as commanded in 1 Corinthians 12

I am thankful that I am able to use my gifts to glorify you by speaking for you and serving others, for I understand that what might be routine for and to me, can be life and soul saving for others. I am thankful because this enables me to live out the reality of 1 Peter 4:10, "God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another."
I am thankful that I can use my gifts to 'TRAIN ON THE JOB' on way to becoming that person you want me to be. I pray that you help me to go through the process and be ready for bigger kingdom business and responsibilities.

The gifts you have given me are to meet the needs of others, and I am thankful that in using them, by your grace and divine appointment, their needs are being met.

Papa, I am thankful because I can use my gifts and abilities in love to do my part in building up your Church.

So today, dear Papa, I say THANK YOU for the gifts - abilities and talents - you have given me. I am thankful for the gift of the desire to want to use them for your glory by helping others. I am thankful for the opportunities you have given and continue to give me to use them - online, on platforms, in books and much more. I pray that you open my eyes to all the opportunities you have in front of me. Amen.

Father, I pray that my basket of THANK YOU for my gifts is beautiful, sweet smelling and acceptable in your presence today. In the mighty name of Jesus I Thanks, Praise and pray. Amen.

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 20

Obey your leaders and submit to their authority.
They keep watch over you as men
who must give an account
Hebrews 13:17

Father, I thank you for another day to give you glory honor and praise. I thank you for another day to be taught your beautiful and life saving word, from the leaders you have placed over us. I thank you for another day to learn more about you, your ways, your will and love for us all.

In my Sanctuary, yesterday, we had our last workers' meeting for the year 2009, in. We were praised for the work we did in the year, we were chastised for our bad behaviour and were we performed badly, we were built up and anointed and wise words of guidance and encouragement was spoken to and over us; to empower us for 2010.

Dear Papa, today I say a BIG THANK YOU for the leadership in my Sanctuary.
I thank you for His integrity and purposeful delivery of your un-diluted word.
I thank you for my leader because he watches closes over us, correcting, rebuking an encouraging through instructions and guidance. Thus, making 2 Timothy 2, our reality "Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction".

I thank you because you indeed have given us a shepherd after your own heart. For he feeds us with knowledge and understanding and judgement, making Jeremiah 3:15 our reality "And I will give you [spiritual] shepherds after My own heart [in the final time], who will feed you with knowledge and understanding and judgment."

I am thankful because through his diligence, I have learnt the tremendous knowledge and desire to do all that I do in and with your Spirit of Excellence. His influence, helps me to pursue excellence in all things, faith, speaking, knowledge and more as encouraged in 2 Corinthians 8:7, "Since you excel in so many ways—in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us—I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving."

So today papa, I thank you for the leadership in my sanctuary. I thank you papa, for your love is evident and your word is taught, undiluted. It is delivered to build, encourage and reform. I pray you continue to uplift and uphold this leadership in integrity, diligence and spirit of excellence.
I pray that my thanksgiving is acceptable in your presence today. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I praise, thanks and pray. Amen

Beautiful people what are you thankful to God for today?

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 19

Two are better than one, because they have
a good return for their work; If one falls
down, his friend can help him up. But pity
the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

I thank you Father for another day to give you praise, glory and honor. I thank you for another day to experience love through the precious gift of friendship.

Today dear Papa, I say THANK YOU FOR THE FRIENDS you have blessed my life with.

I am thankful that you have blessed me with very good friends, both near and far and through blogsville.

I am thankful for my friends who have been with and weathered the storm with me! They have been the reality of Proverbs 18:24, which reads "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother"

I am thankful because I have experienced love at all times from my friends, giving me the true experience of Proverbs 17:17, A friend loves at all times, and is born, as is a brother, for adversity."

I am thankful for my friends because we encourage and build each other up, making Proverbs 27:17 our reality, "Just as iron sharpens iron, friends sharpen the minds of each other".

I am thankful for the friends in my life because it means I am not alone making Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 my reality "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!".

So today Papa, I am thankful for the gift of friendship. I am thankful for the true friends that are in my life. I am thankful for their presence as it gives us an opportunity to build each other up.

Father, I pray that my basket of thanksgiving and praise for friendship is acceptable and sweet smelling in your presence. Be glorified, honored and praised. In the mighty name of Jesus I praise, Thanks and Pray. Amen.

Beautiful people, what are
You thankful to God for today?

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 18

But when the Father sends the
Advocate as my representative
—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will
teach you everything will remind
you of everything I have told you.
John 14:26

I thank you Father for another day to give you glory, honor and praise. I thank you for another day and opportunity to walk in your wisdom and understanding. I thank you for another day of insightful teachings by the best teacher of all; The Holy Spirit.

At work today, we have a major deadline for one of the key programmes I manage. For a few minutes this morning, I did a mental check of what I have to do today,to ensure all the deliverables are in on time. I realised that there was not much to do this morning, just a bit of tidy up here and there. I also realised that a lot of effort and hard work; physically and mentally has been applied to get us this far. According to Zechariah 4:6, all we have done is not by my power, or by my might, by by and with the help of the Holy Spirit "Then he said to me, “This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies."

Today Dear Papa, I SAY A BIG THANK YOU for the best teacher, helper and comforter - THE HOLY SPIRIT.

I am thankful that the Holy Spirit guides (Romans 8:14), intercedes (Romans 8:26), calls (Acts 13:2) and commissions (Acts 20:28) me at the right time and place.

I am thankful for the Holy Spirit because He leads me to repentance and gives me new life as declared in John 16:8, "And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment."

I am thankful for the Holy Spirit because He helps me to look at the right choices in life with confidene, love and self control as promised in Ephesians 1:17, "asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom, and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God."

I am thankful for the Holy Spirit because He produces in me love and the fruit of righteousness as promised in Romans 5:5, "And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love."

So today Papa, I say a BIG THANK YOU for giving to me the best teacher of all times; THE HOLY SPIRIT. I thank you for His gentle, yet assured presence in my life. I thank you for His constant schooling, teaching, building, discipline and lifting.

I thank you Holy Spirit for continuously giving me your wisdom, understanding and insight. I thank you for knowledge. I thank you for opening me to being able to accept knowledge and wisdom. For I know it is one thing to be taught and another to accept the teaching that you freely give.

Papa, I pray that my basket of THANK YOU for the beautiful and precious gift of THE HOLY SPIRIT, is acceptable and sweet smelling in your presence today. Be glorified, honored and praised. In the mighty name of Jesus I praise, thanks and Pray, Amen.

YOU THANKFUL TO GOD FOR TODAY?

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 17

For in the days of David and Asaph
of old, there was a chief of singers and
songs of praise and thanksgiving to God
Nehemiah 12:46

Yesterday morning, as usual, I was in the gym, a bit disgruntled from the cold, but still raring to go. It was a struggle to get started. What helped me was some sweet music from my trusting mp3 player. A few tracks in, I forgot the cold and grunted away in tune to the music and dumb bell lifts. Ah music is good.

Today dear Papa, I say a BIG THANK YOU FOR MUSIC… at this point I remember this song by ABBA:

“and then I thank you for the music,
the songs that I am singing.
Thanks for all the joy they are bringing
Who can live without it?
I ask in all honesty
What would like be
without a song to dance to?”

I am thankful for music, for like David the Psalmist, I know it is good to sing praises unto your holy name... Psalm 147:1 "Hallelujah! It's a good thing to sing praise to our God; praise is beautiful, praise is fitting."

I am thankful that like David, everyday you give and teach me a new song to sing (as I clear my throat to belt a tune this morning, X - factor contestants watch out oh!! ), Psalm 40:3 "He taught me how to sing the latest God-song, a praise-song to our God. More and more people are seeing this: they enter the mystery, abandoning themselves to God.".
I am thankful because I can sing to praise and worship you anywhere, anytime, in and out of key; its still praises to you and you still listen and are still glorified.

I am thankful for when I sing your praises, right there are you; you inhabit my praises.. Psalm 22:3, "But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.."

So today, dear Papa, I say a big THANK YOU for the gift of music. I am thankful for the ability to hear and listen to music. I am thankful for the ability to appreciate music. I am thankful for the ability to praise and worship you through music. I am thankful for the ability to express myself to you through music. I am thankful for music helps me through some difficult tasks such as exercising when not in the mood! **smile**.

Papa, I pray that my basket of thanksgiving for you for music, is sweet smelling and acceptable in your presence today. Be honored, glorified and praised. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I praise, thanks and pray. Amen

31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 16

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every
way and [that your body] may keep well, even
as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers
3 John 1:2

Thank you father for another day to give you glory honor and praise. I thank you for another day to be all that I can and should be for your glory. I thank you for another day and opportunity to work and look after my body, your temple, like I should.

Yesterday, a friend and I went to the gym and had a fabulous time in a couple of group exercise classes. We had a great time trying to co-ordinate ourselves in a particular class and it was hilarious. We had fun, but we had an extremely good workout too. I look forward to going back this evening for some more.

Dear Papa, today, I am thankful for the opportunity and wisdom to look after my body, your holy temple, the way that I should. It is not an easy task, but I am learning daily and I thank you.
I am thankful for the ability to go to one of the best gyms around where I live. I am thankful for blessing me with the resources to afford it, the zeal to want to exercise, and the energy to do so when I am there. I am thankful for the people I have met and the friends I have made whilst in the gym.

I am thankful for because I usually I get two workouts for the price of one - one physical and one spiritual - listening to messages and the audio bible, especially during my early morning workouts. I thank you Father. Many things you have explained and revealed to me whilst I was puffing away on the treadmill.
Like the post IN GOD'S IMAGE and LESSONS FROM WALL CLIMBING. *Smile*

I am thankful because the exercise I undertake is beneficial to my body, spirit and mind and helps me to keep my sweet tooth in check. *smile*.

I am thankful because looking after my body means that I do my part to live out the reality of Ephesians 5:29, “After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church…”

I am thankful for the ability to glorify you by looking after my body through exercise and healthy eating as you encourage me to in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."

So today Papa, I am thankful for the wisdom, ability you have given me to look after my body, your holy temple. I am thankful for the provision of the gym, and my energy to exercise. I am thankful that this wisdom and knowledge and opportunities, for it does help to keep me away from laziness and gluttony.

Father, I pray that my basket of thanksgiving and praise is acceptable and sweet smelling in your presence today, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I praise, thanks and praise. Amen.
