31 Days Thanksgiving & Praise - DAY 29

And Judas and Silas, who were themselves prophets
(inspired interpreters of the will and purposes of God),
urged and warned and consoled and encouraged
the brethren with many words and strengthened them

Acts 15:32

I thank you Father for another day to give you glory, honor and praise. I thank you for another day to keep working on becoming the person you want me to be. I thank you for another day to BE encouraged and TO encourage.

Yesterday, I met up with a friend and we discussed some of the projects that he had underway. We discussed possibilities and strategies for the new year. At some point, the discussion turned towards my projects and what I got was unexpected. I greatly encouraged from the top of my head to the sole of my feet from the words my friend spoke to me. A few words of encouragement does goes a long way, more so from an individual that you thought never really paid interest in what you do or trying to achieve.

Dear papa, today I SAY A BIG THANK YOU for the wonderful SPIRIT AND GIFT OF ENCOURAGEMENT.

I thank you for the ability to be humbled enough to be encouraged. I thank you for those you send my way whose words speak life into my life as you declared they would in Proverbs 10:11a, "The mouth of a good person is a deep, life-giving well...."

I am thankful for those you send my way whose words help to build me up, and those you send my way, who I can help to build up by the words you give me; making Ephesians 4:29 my reality "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen ".

I am thankful for when we encourage each other we emulate you my father. You encourage us through your word to give us hope and good future in you as you declare in Romans 15:4, "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."

I am thankful because when we encourage each other we not only emulate you Father, but we work unity amongst oursevels, as declared in Romans 15:5, "May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus."

So Papa, today, I say thank you the Gift of encouragement. I thank you for encouragement from you and from people you send to me. I thank you for the opportunities and the ability, by your grace, to encourage others also.

Papa, I sincerely pray that my basket of Thanksgiving for the spirit of Encouragement is acceptable and sweet smelling in your presence. I also pray that someone, somewhere is encouraged by this thanksgiving post. In the name of Jesus Christ, I Praise, Thanks and Pray. Amen.

CHILDREN OF GOD, WHAT ARE
YOU THANKFUL TO HIM FOR TODAY?

Much Love, Remi
